HERE IS THE GROUP IN ATTENDANCE at the quarterly meeting of the Tri-State Coalition of Museums on Monday, February 25, 2019, at the Searchlight Historical Museum. It included four representatives from the Colorado River Historical Society & Museum–board members Elsie Needles, President; Karole Finkelstein, Vice President; Brenda Warneka, Secretary; and Richard Warneka.

This new organization, which started mid-2018, was the idea of the Mohave Museum of History & Arts and was just given a formal name at its meeting on  Monday, February 25. Coalition members exchange information to, among other things, make their museums a better experience for their patrons.

Thanks to this group, members of one historical society in the group are are entitled to free entry to all the other member museums. Yes, that’s correct. Join Colorado River Historical Society and you gain free entry to all other museums who make up this group.

The next meeting will be hosted by our museum in Bullhead City
