Bell and his wife Clara Bow\, both Hollywood Film Stars\, lived at the ranch with their family until the Mid 1940’s. \nThe Ranch is Private Property and Only Accessible for Special Tours \nWe Will Meet At The Ranch At 10:00am (NV time) \nSpace is limited. Must Sign Up In Advance. \nWalking Box Ranch is located 7 miles West of Searchlight\, Nevada. From Searchlight\, head west of Route 164 for 7 miles\, turn left onto Walking Box Ranch Road and travel South for 0.8 miles.

DESCRIPTION:This event\, put on by the Colorado River Historical Society Museum with help from DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution)\, is part of a city wide celebration of the 250th birthday of this great country – America! \nThis historic walk will include at least 10 exhibits showcasing significant events around the TriState area where Arizona\, Nevada and California come together\, that shaped what is now Bullhead City. There will be lots of information\, games\, displays and fun to be had by all. \nIn addition\, there will also be 2 performances of the “Signing of the Declaration of Independence” put on be DAR in the McCormick Performing Arts Pavilion. \n

DESCRIPTION:Mark your for the Colorado River Historical Society Museum’s first Soup”erbowl festival. \nThe first 50 guests will have the opportunity to purchase a one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic soup bowl\, then fill that bowl with an assortment of hand-crafted soups. The purchase price for these special soup bowls is $25.00 which includes all the soup you can eat. Kids (only) paper bowls are just $5.00. \nThere will be an assortment of things to do at our festival\, including music by DJ Loki\, cake walk\, rock painting\, gold mining\, bracelet making\, hair braiding and face painting all at no additional charge. As a special treat\, Culver’s will be donating ice cream to the first 75 kids!! \nThe Museum and the Lil’ Red Schoolhouse will also be open this day for your enjoyment. All the events at our “Soup”erbowl festival are free of charge (except the purchase of your bowl). \nWe will be selling tickets for wonderful raffle items along with a 50/50 drawing to complete this fun-filled day. \nPlease bring cash if possible\, to eliminate long lines at our front counter for credit card sales. \nHope to see you all there!!!!! \n
